One of our beloved storytime volunteers, Mrs. Mary Ardis, generously began offering an online storytime every Wednesday morning for Spanish Fort Public Library during the closures in 2020. To view one of these storytimes "Learn More" button below:

Spanish Fort Public Library also hosts a variety of special storytimes throughout the year:

 

  • Local Author Storytimes when an author visits the library to read their book aloud to the children and families.
  • Community Helper Storytimes when a public service worker, such as a firefighter or police officer from the community visits to read a favorite story aloud and share knowledge about their job.
  • Special Afternoon and Saturday Storytimes when staff and volunteers offer a Storytime available to the children and families who are unable to attend our regular Wednesday morning stroytimes.
  • Field Trip Storytimes when classes, camps, and groups in the community schedule a time to visit the library for a tour and a Storytime.
